The Spartan 5 is small, but it cools like a good air conditioner on a hot summer day. Somewhere in Africa. At high noon.

At its highest point, it measures 14.6 cm - enough to fit into most small cases and keep your CPU cool without a problem. Its centrepiece is the 120 mm Fluctus 120 PWM fan, which we mounted on a densely ribbed heatsink. With a package like this, you can render and design without worrying that your comp will suddenly run hot.

The Spartan 5 is also compatible with a wide range of sockets (from older ones - such as AM2 and LGA1156 - all the way up to AM5 and LGA1700) and high RAM, and thanks to the video instructions, you can install it in minutes.

Quieter, quieter, Spartan 5 MAX

If you happen to breathe louder, you might miss the sound of the Spartan 5 MAX running. This bad boy is as quiet as students on a written exam - except that our cooler won't even make a sound when you've finished your work.

That's because the award-winning 120 mm Fluctus fan is responsible for the airflow. Its blades have been profiled to sweep the densely stacked heatsink fins as precisely as possible. On top of this, each of them is finished with a wavy edge to reduce annoying noise (psychoacoustic optimisation of the Fluctus fans is patent-pending).

14.6 cm of power

At first glance, the Spartan 5 MAX seems undersized, but we added the word "MAX" in its name for a reason. The cooler is only 14.6 cm tall - so it fits loosely into most small cases and keeps temperatures arctic inside.

It even blows cool when you sit down to your favourite MMO after a day of 3D rendering.

This is thanks to the densely finned heatsink, which collects heat energy well. The heat pipes connected to it are in direct contact with the CPU surface, improving the collection of high temperatures.

The Spartan 5 MAX is a piece of hardware that you can mount literally in an instant without any additional tools. Along with the cooler, we give you a downloadable video instruction that guides you step-by-step through the entire process.
