A second life for a wired alarm

We understand how hard it is to decide to replace your wired alarm. This is a common situation where the system is still able to protect the property, but is already outdated. Renovation with Ajax does not force you to give up your equipment, but gives you the chance to create a modern, comprehensive system based on wired devices.

With MultiTransmitter, users have control over security through a mobile application, receive full notification data and can apply automation scenarios. The installer can configure the system or device in the PRO app on site or remotely.

More Ajax features

Perimeter infrared sensors, home gas sensors, thermostats, float sensors and other devices extend the functionality of Ajax. Just connect them to the hub via MultiTransmitter and manage the alarm system in the Ajax mobile application.

Less hassle with automation

Use automation scenarios that allow the alarm system to immediately respond to threats without the need for the police to arrive. Ajax will arm itself according to the schedule, turn on the light after detecting an alarm by the motion sensor, turn off the potential source of ignition at the first sign of fire. With MultiTransmitter, the old alarm system becomes part of a safe, smart home.

Full data alarms

Using the MultiTransmitter, you can specify the device name, alarm type and room for each wired device. Thanks to this, notifications are more accurate and you know what happened and when. This information is communicated via push notifications and SMS messages, and also communicated to the security agency's alarm monitoring station via the appropriate code. There are a total of 9 types of alarms available: Burglary, Fire, Medical, Pushbutton, Gas, Leak, Tamper, Fault, Custom (Service Event).

Reliable radio communication

MutliTransmitter communicates with the hub via Jeweller's encrypted radio protocol. It is a TDMA technology developed by Ajax Systems for uninterrupted communication with devices. Jeweller detects jamming attempts, switches to a backup frequency in case of interference, and allows Ajax wireless devices to run on batteries for many years.

Security without barriers

Using radio signal range doublers, the Ajax alarm system can operate in an area of up to 35 km. However, if a room does not reach radio waves, connecting wired devices via MultiTransmitter is the best solution. The length of the cables can reach up to 400 m.

Tamper protection

The MultiTransmiter will immediately inform the user if the connection to the device is interrupted by a short circuit, disconnection of the signal cable or an alarm after detecting tampering. Power loss will not be a problem - the backup battery can work for up to 4 days. The MultiTransmiter housing itself is equipped with two elements that react to detaching the integration module from the surface and removing the cover.

We have made every effort to ensure that the installation and configuration process does not require time and effort. As with other Ajax devices, the MultiTransmitter connects to the hub in the mobile app after scanning a QR code. When connecting wired devices, you do not need to know the resistance values of the resistors. The system will also notify you when the device is connected incorrectly.
