CRS112-8P-4S-IN to przełącznik PoE z ośmioma gigabitowymi portami RJ45, który oferuje różne opcje mocy wyjściowej: automatyczne wykrywanie 802.3af/at PoE/PoE+ i pasywne PoE, a cztery porty SFP zapewniają opcje łączności światłowodowej do obsługi uplinków do 1 Gb/s.

CRS112-8P-4S-IN jest wyposażony w 12 niezależnych portów przełączających. W zestawie znajduje się już zasilacz 28 V 3,4 A. Z tyłu obudowy znajduje się dodatkowe gniazdo DC obsługujące zasilanie 48-57 V (brak w zestawie, można dokupić osobno - kody produktów 48POW (1,46A 70W) i 48V2A96W (2A 96W)).

CRS112-8P-4S-IN może zasilać urządzenia 802.3af/at, jeśli używane jest wejście 48-57V DC (urządzenie automatycznie wykryje i zapewni prawidłowe zasilanie urządzeń). Maksymalny prąd wynosi 1 A na port, jeśli napięcie wejściowe wynosi 18-28 V, 450 mA, jeśli 48-57 V. Całkowity limit to 2,8 A przy 24 V i 1,4 A przy 48-57 V. PoE-Out przechodzi przez piny B 4,5 (+) i 7,8 (-)
