HCO301 convector heater
Convector heaters are a practical solution when additional heating is needed indoors. They can be used when the heating system in our flat or holiday home is still switched off and the evenings and mornings are crisp and cool. They can also be used to increase the temperature in a room for a period of time. The operation of this type of heater is based on the phenomenon of convection. Cool air heats up in the radiator, then warm air rises upwards. Natural air circulation distributes the heat throughout the room.
The HCO301 by Blaupunkt has an output of 2000 W and can heat a room of up to 22 m2. Controlling the HCO301 heater with the thermostat knob regulates the expected temperature in the room and stabilises the temperature according to the user's preferences. There is a choice of three heating power levels: 750, 1,250 and 2,000 watts.
Safety of use is ensured by an automatic safety switch to prevent overheating. It will automatically cut off the power supply increasing the safety of the heater's use.
The unit's compact size makes it ideal for small rooms.
